Welcome to AKProBeads.com.  My name is Jon and I've guided in Southwest Alaska for 8 summers.  I learned about the bead game during my first summer up here, and each summer I learn more about how the sockeye/trout interaction works.  It is an incredible phenomenon of nature and I love being able to witness it.  I wrote an article about bead fishing and you can find it at www.fisheyesoup.com which will give you a little insight into my philosophy on bead fishing.  I know it blurs the line between fly and gear fishing, but it sure works!  I also operate Hemispheres Adventure Angling and would love to have the opportunity to show you this part of Alaska on one of our custom designed float trips.  Please fill out our contact/order form and I will be in touch.  Thanks for shopping and checking out the site.  I hope to hear from you soon.
